(6) The Owens Corning RA Series Appliance Insulation products are lightweight yellow blankets of inorganic glass fibers bonded with a thermoset resin. These products are designed to provide superior dimensional stability, excellent thermal and acoustical performance, and easy handling and installation.
(5) Owens Corning's Thermo Range System (TRS) insulation products are flexible white blankets of inorganic glass fibers bonded with a proprietary thermoset resin. TRS is designed to provide excellent handling characteristics and dimensional stability during installation at OEM facilities and also provides low smoke and odor during the initial self-clean cycle for ranges.
(7) These insulations are made of inorganic glass fibers with a thermosetting resin binder and formed into flexible, semi-rigid or rigid rectangular boards of varying densities. Types 703, 704 and 705 are available with factory-applied FRK or ASJ facings. Both facings are vapor retarders and provide a neat, finished appearance in mechanical applications.
Rotary Type Insulation is a lightweight, highly resilient blanket insulation. Manufactured from high quality flame attenuated glass fibers and has excellent thermal and acoustical properties. The black fiberglass substrate has fine, long fibers which are bonded with a thermosetting resin. The air stream surface can be faced with a black coated mat or black fabric.
White Faced Board Insulation from Fabricating Services, Inc. is designed for a variety of industrial and commercial applications where thermal, acoustical or load-bearing performance is a criterion. These are available with a variety of facings. The one presented here is a smooth, white fabric which presents good handling characteristics and dimensional stability.
